SKJR Properties now South County Contracting. - was established in 2004 by a native Rhode Islander - Steven Kent Jr.
Steve attended Hendricken High School and got his BS in Marketing and Psychology from Roger Williams University making the Dean’s List.
Home construction had always been Steve’s passion. Since a very young age Steve had been following his father’s and uncles’ footsteps hence a job site always felt like a playground to him.
SKJR Properties has a long list of custom built beautiful houses that turned into homes making clients not only happy but secure and safe.
SKJR Properties is a Rhode Island based general contracting firm, established in 2004 as a branch of Kent Co. Development to focus primarily on building in both residential and commercial fields.
Since the development of SKJR we have been involved in multiple cluster developments, single house lots, custom homes, spec homes and major/minor residential and commercial renovations and lots of excavation.
